**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers and equipment based on customer requirements, load priorities, and driver availability.
- Monitor driver routes and delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance and compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Track and report on load status, delays, and exceptions using dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
- Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment availability and readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and load documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, MTO, and company safety regulations.
- Assist in route optimization and cost control initiatives.
- Support after-hours dispatch rotation as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in dispatch or logistics coordination, preferably in the transportation or trucking industry.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations, including HOS, ELD, and cross-border requirements.
- Proficiency in dispatch software (e.g., Fleet Manager, Active Aero, Ryder LMS, Penske, RXO, XPO) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Bilingual (English/French or English/Spanish) is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
