Safety and Compliance Coordinator(Some Dispatch Experience Will Be An Advantage)

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable transportation safety regulations (e.g., DOT, CVOR, NSC).
- Maintain and update driver qualification files, vehicle maintenance records, and safety logs.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate safety training programs and ensure all staff are up to date on certifications.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure safety is integrated into daily workflows.
- Manage Hours of Service (HOS) compliance and electronic logging device (ELD) data.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies during audits or inspections.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety, compliance, or dispatching role within the transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with ELD systems and fleet management software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Transportation Safety or Compliance (e.g., NSC, CVSA, or equivalent).
- Bilingual (English and Punjabi) is an asset.
