YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Reporting to the Health and Safety General Supervisor, you will be part of the Health and Safety Department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a Health & Safety professional, supporting a long-term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.Assist with health & safety related tasks, including inspections, audits, incident investigations and reporting. Support the development, implementation and review of health & safety programs and policies. Collaborate with operations, maintenance and other teams to promote a strong safety culture. Participate in safety meetings, training sessions and toolbox talks. Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility. Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts. Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption. Learn to use health & safety related software and tools. Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills. Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional Health & Safety certification.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDBachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Health, Environmental Science or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator and team player. Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
