YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Reporting to the Environmental General Supervisor, you will be part of the Environment Department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into an Environmental professional, supporting a long-term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.Assist with daily environmental tasks, including monitoring, sampling, inspections, audits and reporting. Support the development, implementation and review of environmental programs and policies. Collaborate with operations, maintenance and other teams to promote a strong environmental culture. Contribute to compliance with environmental regulations. Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility. Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts. Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption. Learn to use environmental related software and tools. Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills. Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional environmental certification. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator and team player. Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
