YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Reporting to the Mill Mechanical General Supervisor, you will be part of the Process Plant Maintenance Department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a licensed Professional Engineer, supporting a long-term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment. Assist with daily mechanical engineering tasks related to the process plant fixed equipment maintenance, including data collection, analysis, and reporting Support the planning, design, and scheduling of maintenance activities for process plant equipment. Collaborate with operations, engineering and other related disciplines to optimize maintenance performance. Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility. Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts. Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption. Learn to use mechanical engineering and maintenance management software and tools. Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills. Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional engineering licensure. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator and team player. Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
