This is an exciting time to join because it is at the very beginning of implementation of 13 FNPCCs. Working with regional teams and staff in the new FNPCCs provides an opportunity to create a team based model of care that is inclusive of traditional primary health care and traditional wellness services. The team the incumbent will join is transitioning from planning support to implementation supports, and the incumbent would be joining right at the beginning of this transition.

**Salary**: $109,356 - $128,653 - $147,951 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hrs Monday
- Friday, normal office hours 8:30am-4:30pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Metro Vancouver office - Alberni office, on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Hybrid working in line with FNHA’s flex work policy. (Hybrid - minimum 50% in the office).
**About the role**
As Manager, PHC Implementation Supports, you will be managing a team that provides primary care and primary health care expertise, consultation and facilitation with regional teams about operational and clinical supports required, use of evidence (qualitative and quantitative) to support primary health care quality improvement, and primary health care change management expertise. The previous incumbent of this position is still a part of this team and will be able to offer support and guidance. This role will play a major role in supporting the development of high quality, culturally safe and humble, interdisciplinary team based primary health care in FNHA by supporting a team that will provide content expertise, change management supports, tools and resources.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
**Education**
- Master’s Degree in a management or health related discipline or equivalency
**Occupational Certification**
- Clinical background as asset
- People management courses/certification as asset
**Experience**
- Significant, recent and relevant experience in people management (usually acquired over a minimum period of 8-10 years) required
- Significant, recent and relevant experience working in a primary care or primary health care setting or environment
**Knowledge**
- Expert knowledge of primary care, primary health care, and change management models in the primary health care environment
- Knowledge of the health care landscape, trends and issues relative to BC First Nations
- Strong knowledge of the Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (BC), the recommendations from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the “In Plain Sight” report, the national inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, and the impacts of these on health, health care and health care design for Indigenous people.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
