This position is for youWhat you will do:Ensure rigorous and proactive monitoring of customer accounts and collection activities to maintain healthy cash flow;Analyze credit risk to support informed strategic decision-making;Manage the opening, updating, and maintenance of customer accounts with accuracy and efficiency;Evaluate account opening requests and determine optimal credit terms;Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate, error-free account reconciliation;Conduct follow-up calls and emails for past-due accounts;Negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent customers;Track payment commitments and update records accordingly;Prepare reports on overdue accounts and recommend corrective actions;Maintain professional and friendly communication with our customers across Canada, by phone and email.QualificationsWhat we are looking for:Education: AEC or DEP in Accounting or a related field;Required experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, including a strong collections component;Comfortable with computer tools and able to learn quickly;Solution-oriented mindset with sound judgment in day-to-day situations;Team spirit and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service;Strong autonomy, organizational skills, and excellent analytical abilities;Bilingualism (French/English – intermediate level) due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication between different regions (asset).
