You will be working in a team-based environment to support physicians in delivering excellent patient care. If you love helping people, this job is for you. What you will be doing:Administrative duties - answer a high volume of phone calls and emails, greet patients in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner, schedule appointments, manage referrals and results, and handle private payments.Lab duties - prepare laboratory specimens (biopsies) for send out, dispose of contaminated supplies, sterilize medical instruments (autoclave), run UVB machine.Patient care duties – Coordinate patient care through the clinic, check in, prep, and escort patients to exam rooms, prepare exam rooms, answer questions, provide post-appointment advice, monitor the waiting room and manage the flow.General duties – Keep patient information confidential and secure at all times. Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required by clinic management.You Have:High school diploma or the equivalentExperience as an MOA or a MOA program certification is preferredWork experience in a medical specialists’ office is an assetWork experience in medical aesthetics is an assetExceptional customer service skillsStrong verbal and written English communication skillsAttention to detail and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workAbility to work independently as well as with a teamAbility to analyze, problem-solve, and investigate problemsOpen, positive, and accountableAbility to work 2-3 days a week (must be available Wednesday and Friday)Experience with an EMR system (Accuro) is an asset The salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
