Job Title: Recruitment Manager Location: Markham Overview: As a member of an outgoing and highly motivated team, you will be responsible for managing our Recruiters and working with our Account Executives towards the successful placement of candidates to jobs. The Recruitment Manager is accountable for customer satisfaction, revenue growth, profitability, and employee morale. The Recruitment Manager organizes, manages and monitors the entire planned recruitment and order fill process. The position is also responsible and accountable for development of ongoing pool of resources that are required across the country in order to fulfill the labour requirements needed for our staff augmentation and IT services businesses. Role: -Implements and manages strategic recruitment and employment programs. -Responsible for managing a staff of professional IT Recruiters. -Is active in direct recruiting for 30 -40% time -Directs and build a high performance team that is driven to achieve results – great jobs for candidates and perfect fit for clients. -Ensures staffing processes align with current and future workforce needs. -Utilizes and evaluates diverse sourcing methods including our web sites, software tools, internet sites, employee referrals, networking (LinkedIn, others) forums and competitive intelligence. -Drives and owns the standardization of recruitment processes, setting recruitment strategy, and implementing best practices into the recruitment function. -Sources qualified candidates for various opportunities across the board of IT and other verticals based on opportunity. -Uses a variety of candidate assessment and interview techniques to search, prescreen, qualify, interview and secure best of class candidates that meet and/or exceed the expectations of our client base. -Selects most appropriate advertising format for postings as applicable-Uses specialized interviewing techniques to assess and qualify candidates including behavioral interview process and Video interviews.-Maintains knowledge of employment market trends. -Participates in HR specific projects and process improvement efforts as needed. -Consistently provides recruiting updates to the system and to managers as required in a timely manner within agreed SLAs -Ensures regulatory and compliance needs are met. -Meets and exceed customer satisfaction for candidates that are provided to customers - Defines and develop resource pools across the country in order to ensure the demand for resources as are met. - Owns the background check process and reference check programs - Develop and implement a grading system to quantify existing resources in terms of competency and professionalism - Provides coaching and leadership to a team of Recruiters - Performs bi-annual performance reviews and assessment for the direct reports Qualifications: -University Degree or 3 year College Diploma with a focus in Computer Science - major asset-An understanding of HR best practices; specifically those related to recruitment would be considered an asset. -Expertise with Staffing and Recruiting software (Bullhorn an asset) -Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated recruiting experience in an agency setting or technical business environment within Information Technology. - A minimum of 2 years as a Supervisor/Manager for Recruiters in the IT vertical. -Must have proven track record of headhunting talent in the IT vertical.-Proven success in Information Technology full life cycle recruitment.-Excellent presentation, communication (written and oral), planning and organizational skills.-Highly proficient with office automation tools (MS Office) as well as the internet and various databases, both internal and external.-Professional, mature and dedicated work ethic. -Ability to build confidence and strong relationships with Account Executives.-Proven success using a variety of sourcing strategies. -Highly organized, process driven but with the flexibility to excel in a fast paced, dynamic environment in which managing multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities must be addressed.-Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment. -Tactful with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion. - Background in HR as well as having a diploma in HR would be an asset. -French language would be an asset -Must be able to travel as well as have a vehicle
