We are looking for a student to support our Leasing Team as a Leasing Coordinator. You will be called upon to:Complete confirmation calls and issue notices to of entry to existing residentsInspect all vacant suites and prepare model suites to ensure show-ready conditionConduct suite viewings with prospective residentsCreate Yardi guest cardsConduct follow-up calls to prospective residents after viewingsSecure high volume of new residents using proper closing techniques or skillsReview and complete applications with prospective residentsAssist Building Manager in completing the application review processManage appointments and Yardi waitlistUnderstand and adhere to all criteria outlined in the Certified Rental Building program (CRB) and the Crime Free Program (CFMHP), where applicablePrepare lease documentation for approval by the Building ManagerSecure resident’s rental insuranceConfirm resident has transferred utility accounts, where applicablePrepare resident move-in packagesComplete Rent Café onboardingComplete competitive landscape analysis with monthly market survey reports and competitive shops semi-annually, or as neededAssist with Resident EventsEngage residents in online review solicitationAssist in creating marketing content including but not limited to videos of suites and property Complete customer service calls including scheduled check-in during the first year of residency and annual customer care callsRespond timely to all telephone and email enquiriesHandle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns professionally and courteouslyRequirements for success:Currently enrolled in college or university program, and returning in the 2026 fall termExperience in office administration, sales and/or customer service Ability to put all prospective residents at ease when showing apartments, answers all questions effectively and provides all required informationAbility to overcome obstacles as presented by prospective tenantsKeeps current knowledge on practices in the market and other buildings in the areaStrong communication and written skills in English and/or FrenchGeneral knowledge of computer software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel)Ability to work independently and in a team environmentGood conflict-resolution skills, ability to deal patiently, tactfully, and effectively with emotionally charged situations and a client base with diverse cultural, educational and socio-economic backgroundsDisplays a positive work attitude and is enthusiasticGood organizational skillsOn-site position: within the Kingston portfolioOther: Access to a reliable vehicle is an assetHours of work: Tuesday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 7p.m. and Friday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Rate of pay: $20.00 hour, 37.5 hours per weekUse of personal cell phone: $20 per pay period (bi-weekly)Employment period: May 4 – August 28, 2026There is a 1-week on-site training requirement in Ottawa.This posting is for a summer vacancy. We would like to thank all applicants, however only those under consideration will be contacted.___________________________________________________________________________________________________Osgoode welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
