Utilities Kingston has provided the residents of Kingston with safe and reliable utility services for more than 100 years. **Primary Duties** **Please note: the pay rates are based on 2024 rates of pay.** Reporting to the Supervisor of the Metering department, the successful student will provide support to Metering staff in the areas of data entry, appointment booking, filing, timesheet and auditing as well as other related duties as required using various systems. **Education, Certification and Other Qualifications Required** - Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word & Excel) required. - Superior organization skills. - Ability to perform well independently and as a team player. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to keep sensitive information confidential. - Adaptability in a changing environment. - Ability to manage high volume workloads under time sensitive conditions. - Conscientiousness and attention to detail. **Special Working Conditions/Conditions of Employment** - Full-time student at a recognized post-secondary educational institution, and returning to full time attendance in the Fall of 2025. - Completion of a Criminal Record Check at the employee's own expense, and to the satisfaction of Utilities Kingston. - Valid Class "G" driver's license, considered an asset **Closing Statement** Your resume and/or cover letter must clearly demonstrate how you meet the requirements of the position. **Accessibility Statement** Appropriate accommodations will be provided as required by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) upon request. **Employment Equity
