This role would be joining CEDA’s Mobile Workforce which staffs our turnaround events throughout the year.**Details:Start Date: Intake dates throughout March & April 2026(exact training dates will be finalized in early 2026)Duration: The project(s) will last anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks. There is the possibility for redeployment to other projects or full-time work upon project completionLocation: Positions available throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and OntarioCompensation: Candidates coming from out of town, rates start at $29/hr (travel and accommodations provided). Candidates local to the operating region, rates range from $29-$35/hr. Shift: 6x1 or 12x2 shifts at 10-12 hours per day, days and nights. Overtime: Overtime eligible Shifts are based on an 8/44 rule. Accommodation and Travel: Provided by CEDA for candidates that are not local to the areaTraining: you can build your skill set and equipment knowledge and acquire various industry tickets through CEDA's shutdown training program.What you do:Work alongside Labourers assisting with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty toolsWork safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour intensive capacityClimb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your backComplete minor maintenance and checks on equipmentEnsure safety for all team members and propertyProvide quality services to our clientsLearn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipmentLeave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done.Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being doneComplete required paperwork for projects and jobsChallenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every timeOther duties as assigned What you bring:Valid Class 1 or 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is requiredExperience operating a manual transmission is a strong asset1+ years of labour or operator experience in an industrial environment is an assetValid certification (or combination of CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional or BSO) is required and certifications are an assetWe have great training and your ability to read and write will ensure you meet the testing requirementsAble to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol testThe skills that make you a great fit:Strong mechanical aptitudeYou have a positive attitude and are eager to learnYou are safety focused when it comes to people and equipmentAble to perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)No issues working at heights or in confined spacesYou’re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safelyWho Loves This JobGrit.
