**Summary**:
Under the direction of the Team Leader, the Class 5 Driver is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of materials through the operation of trucks and forklifts.
This is a safety-sensitive position that requires completion of pre-employment testing and requires a commercial Class 5 Driver's License (or equivalent), and a satisfactory Driver's Abstract to support insurability. Employee is also required to complete an in-house road-test prior to onboarding.

**Key Focuses**:

- Operating commercial vehicles
- Completing daily driver logs in accordance with Alberta’s hour of service regulations
- Fill out pre and post trip inspections
- Ensure vehicle is properly equipped and in proper working order
- Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Follow the scheduled plan for deliveries and inform supervisor if you must deviate for any reason
- Maintain shipping and loading documents
- Maintain professional driving habits at all times
- Be alert to risks and threats in order to prevent losses before they occur
- Must be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

**Knowledge and Requirements**:

- Grade twelve (12) Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Minimum of one (1) year experience is required
- Valid CSO certification (or combination of CSTS and OSSA or BSO) is required
- Forklift Certification is an asset
- Ability to speak, read and write English is required
- Warehousing/yard work experience is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

This is a full time position located north of Fort McMurray on Syncrude site; Site Store Driver
**Work Schedule**: Team 30 (5 on, 4 off, 4 on, 5 off schedule; 12 hours per day)
**NOTE**: Flights and Camp are NOT available
