Share What you'll do Responsibilities Prospecting & OutreachConduct light market research to understand target accounts, buyer personas, and key industriesGenerate leads through outbound emails, cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and social sellingBuild, adapt, and personalize outreach messages and simple outbound campaignsUse multiple prospecting channels to engage potential clients and spark interestMaintain accurate notes and activity tracking in our CRMLead Qualification & HandoffsEngage prospects to understand their needs, interest level, and potential fitQualify leads based on basic criteria and hand off strong opportunities to Account ExecutivesNurture early-stage leads with consistent follow-up and relevant informationTeam Collaboration & ReportingWork closely with the sales team to align on ideal customer profiles and territory focusShare insights from prospect interactions to support sales and marketing initiativesMeet weekly and monthly activity expectations (emails, calls, LinkedIn touchpoints, etc.)Support simple reporting and updates for leadership What you'll need Qualifications Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field2 years or more experience in sales, customer service, or another people-focused roleStrong communication skills and comfort with email, phone, and LinkedIn outreachPositive, resilient, and eager to learn through coaching and hands-on practiceStrong organization skills and ability to manage activity targets and follow-upFamiliarity with CRM systems, LinkedIn, and general prospecting tools is an asset We're looking for Core Skills Cold Calling CRM Excellent written and verbal communication skills Lead Generation Proactive self-starter Prospecting for New Clients Teamwork Lead Qualifications A little bit about us PLATO Who We ArePLATO is a software testing and technology services company trusted by clients around the world.In addition to providing our clients the highest quality software testing services, PLATO is creating careers in technology for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people from coast to coast to coast through our innovative train-and-employ model.
