Job Title: Lead Business Analyst/Project Coordinator
Location: Fredericton, NB (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (With Possible Extension)
Job description:
Support the software development team and Work with both client and development team members to elicit requirements, write user stories, define goals, document requirements, and analyze business functions to become familiar with the business domain.
Identify business work flows and determine stakeholder needs.
Author test case specifications, requirements traceability documentation, and contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans.
Support and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team.
Deliverable Details:
Project Charter and Work Plan; Current State Assessment Report; Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM); RFP Documentation Package; Vendor Evaluation and Recommendation Report; Implementation and Migration Plan; Project Status Reports and Risk Register; Training and Change Management Materials; Post-Implementation Review and Lessons Learned Report.
Must Have Skills:
Must have experience managing or coordinating multi-stakeholder projects involving business, technical, and vendor teams, ensuring effective collaboration and timely delivery.
Must have a proven ability to produce high-quality business and technical documentation, including but not limited to process maps, requirements specifications, project plans, and risk registers.
Must have experience working within recognized project management or business analysis methodologies, such as BABOK, PMI, Agile, or Waterfall.
Must have excellent facilitation, analytical, and communication skills in English as required by the project environment.
Must be able to commence work within [2] weeks of contract award and dedicate the required level of effort for the full duration of the engagement.
Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Business Analyst leading system replacement or modernization projects, including requirements gathering, analysis, and implementation support.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $70.00-$85.00 per hour
