CLEARVIEW is currently seeking an experienced
**intermediate**
**Business Analyst**, who will be responsible for contributing to, and documenting, all aspects of solution engineering including problem definition, requirements elicitation, research, solution identification and selection, and implementation.
The BA will work with the Business, Architecture, and Development teams to translate business requirements into detailed processes and solutions. The Intermediate BA will provide guidance and recommendations in a collaborative effort with internal departments to address key information gaps and ensure delivery of a solution that best meets the customer’s needs.
A primary objective for the Intermediate BA is to help structure CLEARVIEW to not only meet and exceed the needs of our customers today, but also to be an innovative product that will continue to evolve to meet the needs of existing and future customers tomorrow. The Intermediate BA will be responsible for driving key enhancements for CLEARVIEW and its future innovation.
**What will your day look like?**
Duties and tasks may include, but are not limited to:
**Customer Engagement**
- Forging strong customer relationships to build trust and encourage collaboration.
- Conducting workshops and interviews to discover information related to process and/or requirements.
- Conducting requirements review and prioritization sessions to validate that the captured requirements are clear and correct and are prioritized.
- Documenting, presenting, reviewing captured processes and associated information.
**Product Innovation**
- Exploring new and creative ways to lead customers into the future; proactively meeting the needs that will arise in their business (whether they know it or not)
- Assess the value of current CLEARVIEW functionality and provide feedback on adding/removing/enhancing functions and features.
- Discussing how to best leverage new technologies (build/buy/integrate) with the Product Engineering team.
**Product Development**
- Identifying and establishing scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
- Working with stakeholders and project team to define functional solutions for identified requirements.
- Developing and maintaining a project backlog based on prioritized requirements.
- Being the go-to project team member for clarification of requirements and functional decisions. When necessary, involving Product Management or other teams.
- Facilitating and supporting testing activities to ensure sufficient validation is performed that requirements have been met.
**Collaborating with technical teams**
- Communicating customer needs and strategies to the Architecture team
- Helping to identify solutions within CLEARVIEW that meet the customer’s needs while also fitting into the overall product strategy.
- Consulting with Development teams, advising and answering questions as they build and refine a solution.
**Collaboration with business teams**
- Drawing on your extensive BA experience to share best practices and recommendations.
- Mentoring and helping to build the skills of other BAs within the organization.
- Articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others
- Attending interdepartmental meetings as needed to provide insight on process improvement and opportunities for increased efficiency.
