Product Manager - Electronics -25002395DescriptionLinde Gas & Equipment Inc.Product Manager - ElectronicsLocation: Hampton, NJLinde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Product Manager – Electronics to join our team Highly influential individual contributor position responsible for the product management of the Linde Electronic Gases business.The role is responsible for development and execution of the Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) segment strategy including product development, leading efforts with R&D on new capabilities, OEM collaboration, vendor selection & supply chain, and overall product offering.The position will work cross-functionally to support the market requirements for assigned categories and will work directly with suppliers, OEMs, sales, purchasing, engineering and operations, as well as customer service, customer technical leads and buyers to ensure effective business execution. Additional areas of focus include new growth opportunities and product focus specifically around business continuity planning (BCP) to ensure consistency in meeting existing reliability needs and growing into new business.In addition, the role will lead the evaluation of potential merger and acquisition opportunities to enhance Linde Electronics capabilities as well as serve as the owner of business cases for internal investment projects critical to meet growing business needs. This position reports to the Business Development Director, Electronics.What we offer you·Competitive compensation·Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision and more)·401(k) retirement savings plan·Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO)Employee discount programs·Career growth opportunities·Additional compensation may vary depending on the position and organizational levelWhat you will be doing:·Understand the ESG product line marketplace, customer needs, technical alternatives, demand drivers, industry capacity, market share and competitor pricing.·Bridge the activities of sales, engineering, purchasing and operations.·Create tactical product line roadmap proposals for the ESG product portfolio based upon defined existing product volume and scope, as well as new product requirements.·Execute on new products, features and functionality in partnership with engineering and operations.Work with engineering to define technical packages to support growth.·Assist in developing and then driving the implementation of pricing strategies.·Support the sales team in responding to RFQs and other customer product requests.·Lead cost reviews and margin analysis to support sales.·Develop and gain approval for business cases for fleet additions and capacity upgrades for future business opportunities.·Review and align ESG product specifications and adjustments to meet customer needs, including SQC and analytical comparisons.·Coordinate source changes with sales, operations, and engineering.·With the Linde Electronics Business Development Director and sales team, support forward looking investments into major product expansions and investment into new growth areas.Serve as Project Business Lead (PBL) for major investment cases.·Responsible for budget of the ESG product line.·Develop business continuity plans that align with current and future product demand needs across all Linde Electronics products, including ESG’s and isotopes supplied to both Electronics and non-Electronics end users.Scope to be vertically integrated from source gas supply through customer delivery.·Work directly with purchasing to manage vendor relationships regarding supply chain performance, cost, quality, fill rate, contract management, and freight and assure contracts are in place to protect the supply chain and plan alternative sourcing strategies.·Work directly with operations and engineering to ensure production capacity meets current and future demands, as well as assets and spare parts planning and inventory meet BCP requirements.·Work with logistics to ensure the business is properly aligned from a stocking and delivery standpoint.·Work with quality and operations to ensure product specific customer needs are met for current and future business.·Identify, evaluate, and present to senior management Linde Electronics opportunities for merger and acquisition, working closely with the Corporate and LG&E M&A groups..QualificationsWhat makes you great:·Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical area required.·Minimum of 10 years demonstrated commercial success with functional experience in Linde Electronics products and new product development.·Deep understanding of the ESG product portfolio and supply chains required.·Commercial negotiation experience required.·Lab and/or quality experience preferred.·Has a working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and other systems required for management of the applicable products.·Ability to operate with minimal supervision in a complex business environment and handle multiple tasks and follow-through.·Ability to travel domestically and internationally.Why you will enjoy working with us:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
