In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, the **Product Manager** will suppport the management of one of Regency’s product categories, assisting with everything from market evaluation through to product development, product introduction and managing the lifecycle of the product. Reporting to the Director, Marketing this position will work with a talented team of designers, engineers, marketing and sales experts, and will advocate for new, innovative products to solve the needs of our dealer base.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop a solid understanding of all FPI products
- Translate Regency’s Business Strategy into Product Strategy
- Be the “champion” for assigned product categories
- Support the creation and evolution of the product road map for the assigned product categories
- Drive action throughout the organization to bring product to market on-time and on-budget
- Develop communications for day-to-to product updates & information including pricing, launch dates, and availability in conjunction with the Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and various other departments
- Support the development of the business case, budget, and profitability for assigned product categories
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to develop the product requirements as well as evaluate the total opportunity for new products
- Provide insight to stakeholders on the product, competition, market opportunity, and market needs
- Use feedback from our key stakeholders to maintain a database of competitive products, features, specs and pricing
- Assist Marketing, Finance, and Sales with developing a sales forecast and pricing strategy to effectively position products within the market
- Coordinate with Marketing the go-to-market strategies surrounding product launches and product updates
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to translate product features and information into product launch content, promotions, webinars, videos, training, brochures, website updates, and other product focused activities designed to optimize sales results
- Support the communication and training of Regency’s Sales Team and Dealers on the product selling proposition, features, benefits and differentiators.
- Lead the design, completion and communication of price pages and order forms across all media including print, web and other delivery mechanisms, in line with company standards
- Update and maintain key product data within ERP system
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of templates and various other documents to facilitate quick & informed decision making
- Respond to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Support and collaborate with the Product Managers
- Maintain professionalism and act in a manner consistent with FPI mission and guiding principles
- Follow all Health & Safety programs; actively participate in Health & Safety training with the purpose of gaining knowledge and understanding
- Contribute to a positive work environment focusing on Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
- Other related duties and projects assigned

**Abilities/Skills/Knowledge**
- 3-5 years of product experience with demonstrated ownership of the full lifecycle of a product from concept to product maturity
- Ability to use collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to make product decisions and influence stakeholders
- Strong technical and business savvy
- Strong communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills
- Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships
- Proven self-starter; able to work independently and within a team
- Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to travel as required

**Education/Training**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business with a specialization/concentration in Marketing or Finance, or relevant area of study

**Experience**
- Experience in the building products manufacturing industry industry is an asset
