DH-GUEST EXPERIENCE SUPERVISOR

Position Summary The Guest Experience Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all daily operations and team members in the Guest Experience department. He or she will be responsible for the retail inventories for each of the Recreation outlets and will provide guest service and assistance to the guests and team members who use the Recreation facilities. He or she is also responsible for ensuring that each team member is familiar with all of the daily operations and is trained in guest service continually. The Guest Experience Supervisor is also responsible for scheduling, payroll and holding the team accountable for each guest encounter/interaction.Duties and responsibilities:Supervises operations within Guest Experience and ensures that friendly, courteous, and efficient service is extended to all guestsTrains; conducts with management, the departmental orientation and provides initial on-the-job training. Follows-up to ensure Job-Task-Checklists are signed offEnsures policies and procedures are followedCommunicates regularly with team members to source new ideas for services, products, and equipmentAttends to any guest complaint to ensure the guest need is met, dialogue with guest is tracked, follows-up with team member and ensures root-cause is reviewed to minimize re-occurrenceDaily tracks and monitors activities and operationsProvides concise reports and/or purchase order requests for supplies and new productsAssists in other Guest Experience outlets and with Corporate Group Events as requiredAssists the Director of Guest Experience, Director of Team Building and the Guest Experience Managers with special programs as requiredAssists in building a solid relationship between concessions and the resortEnsures the guests and team members are happyPerforms Attendant duties when scheduledCompletes all other duties as assignedRecognizes and greets all guests and team members providing exceptional and professional service.Provides exceptional and professional service to our guests and team members Ensures the well-being of our guests and team members by being alert to and reporting potential hazardsComfortable making responsible decisions and develops recommendations for effective problem solvingQualifications:Degree or diploma in Recreation Leadership or Business or equivalentMinimum of 2 years leadership experience2 years experience in the Recreation or Hospitality fieldFirst Aid/CPR requiredBronze Cross certificate an assetBoat License an assetKnowledge of indoor/outdoor Sports and related equipment requiredIntermediate level of competency in all Microsoft office components preferredPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Occasional ascending or descending stairs and rampsVisa Requirements: Must be eligible to work in Canada.Housing: Furnished host accommodation available minutes from the resortBenefits and Employee Perks are availableThe above job description is not intended to be exhaustive lists of all responsibilities, skills or efforts associated with or expected of the role, but are intended to accurately reflect principal job elements.
