One of our clients is currently looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Technician to join its dynamic team located in Ville Saint-Laurent.If you are an organized, autonomous individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, this position could be a perfect fit for youJoin a reputable company offering a stimulating environment, excellent development opportunities, and a collaborative team.Job Title: Payroll TechnicianLocation: Ville Saint-Laurent Salary: 60k - 75k Work Model: Hybrid Start Date: As soon as possibleAdvantagesStimulating environment and dynamic team;Recognized large corporation;Modern offices in Ville Saint-Laurent;Hybrid work model;Opportunities for growth and professional development.Responsibilities- Enter and validate employee data (new hires, departures, status changes, benefits).- Calculate and process governmental remittances (Source Deductions, CSST/CNESST, etc.) and ensure compliance with tax and legal standards.- Prepare year-end documents (production of T4, Relevé 1 slips, and other tax documents).- Perform payroll reconciliations and prepare related journal entries.- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and taxes.- Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting departments.Qualifications- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role - AEC, DEC in Accounting/Payroll, or PCP certification (a major asset).- Proficiency with a recognized payroll system (e.g., Nethris, Desjardins, ADP, etc.).- Excellent knowledge of Quebec and Canadian labor laws and tax regulations.- Rigor, discretion, strong organizational skills, and bilingualism (French/English).SummaryAre you looking for a new challenge and have experience in accounting?
