**Manage all payroll-related activities**

? Manage and execute the complete payroll cycle for all employees in the province of Quebec
? Ensure compliance with all government, legislative and tax regulations
? Ensure that payroll processing complies with collective agreement rules and various corporate policies
? Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the payroll database and process all updates to employee files
? Analyze discrepancies, process inconsistencies and perform quality control to ensure payroll accuracy
? Validate, correct and enter daily payroll data and issue weekly statements
? Generate, prepare and verify payroll reports
? Manage and carry out the entire year-end process, issuing all mandatory provincial and federal government statements within deadlines (Relevés 1, T4, Relevés sommaires, T2200, TP-64.3 etc.)
? Ensure the accuracy of vacation and leave bank balances (statutory, personal, family-related) for all employees, and make any necessary calculations and adjustments
? Support managers and employees with payroll and benefits requests and questions
? Produce various statistical reports and forward them to the various stakeholders

**Safety and Sustainability Expectations**

? Good knowledge of C-TPAT, SQF/HACCP and ISO standards
? Contribute to improving and maintaining C-TPAT, SQF/HACCP and ISO procedures

**Qualifications & Skill Requirements**

? College diploma in administration, human resources, accounting and management or equivalent training/experience

? 2 to 5 years' experience in compensation in a unionized manufacturing environment

? Fluency in English and French
? Excellent knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel)
? Good knowledge of SOFE software
? Membership in good standing with the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) is a definite asset
