We are committed to working together and to getting everyone home safe every day.THE OPPORTUNITY:Tundra is excited to announce an opportunity for a Benefits & Payroll Coordinator based out of our Winnipeg, Manitoba office. The successful incumbent will be eligible to participate in Tundra’s hybrid work schedule.This role is integral to the Human Resources team, responsible for administering employee benefit programs, supporting payroll processes, and ensuring compliance with legislative and company requirements. The Benefits & Payroll Coordinator will deliver exceptional employee support while collaborating closely with HR team members and external service providers.REPORTS TO: Manager, HR, Payroll & BenefitsWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Administer all benefit programs, including enrollments, life events, terminations, and changes through provider portals (Sun Life, Canada Life, RBC, SSQ).Manage Group RRSP/DPSP processes, including contribution remittances, adjustments, withdrawals, and annual forfeitures.Organize annual Sun Life Bonus Allocation campaign.Administer leave programs (Disability, Maternity & Parental, Personal Leaves), collaborating with HSE on WCB claims and HR Business Partner on disability claims.Track and process in-house benefits such as Healthy Lifestyle Allowance and Field Safety Glasses reimbursements.Respond to benefit-related inquiries and ensure accurate premium calculations and adjustments.Maintain HRIS benefit data and perform annual audits; update benefit rate changes in ADP.Lead biennial benefit information sessions and participate in annual benefit renewal reviews.Draft and implement benefit policies and communications; research plan enhancements.Support payroll processes including time and attendance imports, vacation management, WCB remittances, and T4 preparation.Provide data for reporting and assist HR team with employee metrics.Act as a trusted resource for payroll and benefits inquiries.Perform other duties as required.WHAT YOU NEED:Post-secondary education in a related field.2–3 years of experience in benefits and payroll administration.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Prior HRIS experience required (ADP Workforce Now preferred).CEBS or PCP designation (or working toward) considered an asset.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong confidentiality and integrity.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Clear and professional communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Collaborative and team-oriented approach.OTHER DETAILS:This position is eligible to participate in Tundra’s hybrid work schedule (in-office Tuesday – Thursday)We recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
