Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity? In this role you will be responsible for quality control for all financial and non-financial transactions that flow to the Quality Control work basket with a high level of accuracy for Mutual Funds, Segregated Funds and Pooled Funds for various account types. ( CASH, RRSP, TFSA, Income Fund and RESP)What will you do? Quality control review of all trading and account data input on recordkeeping systemReview various types of mutual and pooled fund investor transactions for errors from internal processingReview reports of trade rejections and provide explanation to internal partners as requiredReport errors, trade rejections and electronic transfer of funds issues within the internal database to capture data for reporting purposesEnsuring knowledge of client specific and departmental requirements are currentCommunicating effectively with all teams to establish relationships based on enhancing the overall client experienceSupporting and assisting other members of the department as required during absences or periods of higher volumesEscalating to management issues that hinder meeting deadlines, impact client service; or have potential loss to the organizationMessage all accounts where unusual actions have occurredAudit Transactions, question procedures, suggest improvements to processes and give accurate feedback to team members to help reduce errors and ensure a high accuracy rateWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have Mutual Funds/Segregated Funds industry experience required.Highly motivated, detailed, and deadline orientatedStrong team player, resolute for team’s successCommitted to ‘First Time Right’ quality initiative.Able to multi-task and prioritize with varied functions and workload.Ability to work overtime – during the week and on weekends.Nice to HaveAbility to communicate in FrenchKnowledge of Unitrax record keeping system preferred.Understanding of registered products desiredExperience in an imaging/workflow environment an asset.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
