What you will do

At Kenvue Canada, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Commercial Planning Lead. This role is instrumental in optimizing our annual strategic planning process and ensuring seamless integration with in-year commercial planning to deliver on our objectives and key results (OKRs). While this individual will not directly author plans, they will be responsible for ensuring strategic connectivity across brand plans, driving alignment to enterprise-level goals.


This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in leading processes, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering impactful outcomes. Candidates with experience in consulting, process excellence, or operations, as well as those with a background in sales or marketing, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning Leadership: Lead and facilitate the annual strategic planning process in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and North America Strategy, ensuring streamlined processes, tools, and calendars.
  • Cross-Functional Connectivity: Drive alignment across functions, building agile cross-functional work teams to ensure timely delivery of key plans.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process enhancements to the Canadian Leadership Team, optimizing timelines, priorities, and execution efficiency.
  • Performance Alignment: Collaborate with Finance and Business Intelligence to develop centralized dashboards that support performance conversations and align with the financial planning cycle.
  • Integration of Strategic Priorities: Oversee the integration of strategic big bets into the core commercial planning processes, ensuring they are operationalized effectively.
  • Commercial Calendar Management: Support the development of an integrated commercial calendar that optimizes meeting cadence, balances team energy, and avoids overlaps.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • A university degree (minimum).
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in commercial, operations, and/or business planning roles.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across all levels and functions, internally and externally.
  • High intellectual curiosity about broader business and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment with shifting priorities and high complexity.
  • Strong skills in leading through ambiguity, shaping outcomes, and driving action.
  • Expertise in project management, facilitation, and understanding end-to-end business processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience leading end-to-end processes or projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with brand and/or customer planning processes.
  • Experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
