The Opportunity We are looking for an accomplished Change Manager to join our team as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

The Maples Group is committed to investing in the future of the business and has embarked upon various operational and technological improvements across the organization. This role will initially have a greater focus on the business change aspects of an ERP transformation project. The project is focused on implementing a new ERP system for end-users along with process, policy and data structure changes and impact our client administration, compliance, billing and financial reporting processes. In the future, the role will focus on the business change strategy of other projects within the operational improvement roadmap.
Reporting to the Vice President Change Management and working closely with the project teams, the role will focus on ensuring readiness of our people for technology, process and data changes. The role will also focus on fostering faster adoption and higher utilisation of the changes that affect the ways in which Maples' employees do their jobs and how we engage with our clients. The successful execution of the change management strategies and plans will increase benefit realisation, and provide tangible outcomes for Maples, its people and its clients.
As part of our Montreal team your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development of a structured approach to change management by understanding the process and data changes for end users in detail and cultivating a change strategy to ensure adoption
- Conducting end-user analyses (incl. identifying opportunities for process improvement), formulating end-user change management actions and driving the end-user change management plan throughout the duration of each initiative
- Undertaking of change management assessments and risk mitigation tactics, communicating those insights clearly and succinctly. This will include assessing technical requirements & specifications of new systems and digital products for policy, organisational design, role and process implications
- Assessing the impact of change and the subsequent development and execution of interventions to support adoption of the changes required by the various global programmes.
- Designing plans and leading the change roll-out for specific jurisdictions / business lines to drive successful project outcomes, building on experience gained throughout the project
- Working with local teams across multiple jurisdictions to measure business readiness and offer tailored support for adoption
- Working with project teams, technical trainer(s) and Learning & Development team to identify learning needs, develop impactful materials and partner with the learning and development team to deliver targeted learning to different roles across the firm
- With the VP, Change Management, designing and delivering a communications strategy and plan to support the change aspects of each project
- Soliciting feedback from end-users, as well as through identified KPIs, to measure the impact of change management activities, ensuring that behavioural changes align with strategic objectives
- Supporting a network of change agents by providing them with the knowledge and tools required to bring about change within their teams
- Working with Project Managers to integrate change management activities into project plans throughout the full lifecycle of the global operational projects, ensuring change management activities are effectively delivered upon
- Supporting and engaging senior leaders in helping them fulfil the roles of change sponsors and change leaders
What You Bring In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience working on large-scale technology transformation change efforts, preferably in the professional or corporate services sectors or as a change consultant
- A Bachelors or Masters degree or professional qualification in a business discipline (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience in working within a complex matrix organization, particularly one that operates in multiple countries / jurisdictions
- Experience in working with international, virtual, multi-cultural, multi-disciplined, and high-performance working teams
- Strong end-user engagement skills, including experience persuasively articulating project and change proposals, socialising ideas and influencing end-users to drive adoption
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Ability to assimilate technical detail (process or technology related) to identify important impacts for employees
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal. The ability to quickly develop impactful written content to convey ideas to senior stakeholders will be highly beneficial
- Effective organisation and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated high levels of reliability, detail-orientation and achievement of results
- Comfort working in an agile environment where work products are shared frequently with project sponsors for feedback and iteration

Le poste Nous recherchons un gestionnaire du changement accompli pour se joindre à notre équipe des opérations au sein de notre activité de services financiers à Montréal.

Le Groupe Maples s’est engagé à investir dans l’avenir de l’entreprise et a entrepris diverses améliorations opérationnelles et technologiques au sein de l’organisation. Dans un premier temps, le titulaire du poste se concentrera davantage sur les aspects liés au changement opérationnel dans le cadre d’un projet de transformation du progiciel de gestion intégré (PGI). Le projet est axé sur la mise en œuvre d’un nouveau système de PGI pour les utilisateurs finaux, ainsi que sur les changements apportés aux processus, aux politiques et aux structures de données, et sur l’incidence sur nos processus d’administration des clients, de conformité, de facturation et de production de rapports financiers. À l’avenir, le titulaire du poste se concentrera sur la stratégie des changements opérationnels d’autres projets de la feuille de route de l’amélioration opérationnelle.
Le gestionnaire du changement relève du vice-président, Gestion du changement et travaille en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de projet. Le titulaire du poste veillera à ce que notre personnel soit prêt pour les changements en matière de technologie, de processus et de données. Il veillera également à favoriser une adoption plus rapide et une utilisation accrue des changements qui ont une incidence sur la manière dont les employés de Maples effectuent leur travail et sur la manière dont nous établissons des liens avec nos clients. La mise en œuvre réussie des stratégies et des plans de gestion du changement permettra d’accroître la réalisation des avantages et d’obtenir des résultats tangibles pour Maples, son personnel et ses clients.
Au sein de notre équipe de Montréal, vos responsabilités consisteront notamment à :
- soutenir l’élaboration d’une approche structurée de la gestion du changement en ayant une excellente compréhension des changements apportés aux processus et aux données pour les utilisateurs finaux et en cultivant une stratégie de changement pour en assurer l’adoption;
- effectuer des analyses auprès des utilisateurs finaux (y compris la détermination des possibilités d’amélioration des processus), élaborer des mesures de gestion du changement pour les utilisateurs finaux et diriger le plan de gestion du changement les concernant pendant toute la durée de chaque initiative;
- entreprendre des évaluations de la gestion du changement ainsi que des tactiques d’atténuation des risques et communiquer ces renseignements de manière claire et succincte; il s’agira notamment d’évaluer les exigences techniques et les spécifications des nouveaux systèmes et produits numériques afin de déterminer les implications en termes de politiques, de conception organisationnelle, de rôles et de processus;
- évaluer l’incidence du changement ainsi que, subséquemment, concevoir et mettre en œuvre des mesures d’intervention visant à soutenir l’adoption des changements requis par les différents programmes mondiaux;
- concevoir des plans et diriger la mise en œuvre des changements pour des territoires ou des secteurs d’activité spécifiques afin d’assurer la réussite du projet, en s’appuyant sur l’expérience acquise tout au long du projet;
- collaborer avec les équipes locales de plusieurs territoires pour mesurer l’état de préparation des entreprises et offrir un soutien personnalisé pour la mise en place des changements;
- collaborer avec les équipes de projet, le(s) formateur(s) technique(s) et l’équipe de l’apprentissage et du perfectionnement afin d’identifier les besoins en matière d’apprentissage, de créer du matériel efficace et de collaborer avec l’équipe de l’apprentissage et du perfectionnement afin d’offrir une formation ciblée aux différentes fonctions au sein de l’entreprise;
- concevoir et mettre en œuvre une stratégie et un plan de communication pour soutenir les aspects liés au changement de chaque projet en collaboration avec le vice-président, Gestion du changement;
- solliciter la rétroaction des utilisateurs finaux, ainsi que des indicateurs de rendement clés identifiés, pour mesurer l’incidence des activités de gestion du changement, en veillant à ce que les changements de comportement s’alignent sur les objectifs stratégiques;
- soutenir un réseau d’agents du changement en leur fournissant les connaissances et les outils nécessaires pour apporter les changements au sein de leurs équipes;
- collaborer avec les gestionnaires de projet en vue d’intégrer les activités de gestion du changement dans les plans de projet tout au long du cycle de vie des projets opérationnels mondiaux, en veillant à ce que les activités de gestion du changement soient mises en œuvre effectivement;
- soutenir et mobiliser les cadres supérieurs pour les aider à remplir les rôles de promoteurs et de leaders du changement.
Votre contribution En plus d’une autonomie et de normes en matière d’éthique incontestablement élevées, le candidat idéal possédera les caractéristiques suivantes :
- au moins cinq ans d’expérience avérée dans le domaine de la transformation technologique à grande échelle, de préférence dans les secteurs des services professionnels ou des services aux entreprises, ou en tant que conseiller en changement;
- un baccalauréat, une maîtrise ou un titre professionnel dans une discipline liée aux affaires (ou une expérience professionnelle équivalente);
- une expérience du travail au sein d’une organisation matricielle complexe, en particulier d’une organisation opérant dans plusieurs pays et territoires;
- de l’expérience de travail au sein d’équipes internationales, virtuelles, multiculturelles, pluridisciplinaires et au rendement élevé;
- des compétences solides en matière de mobilisation des utilisateurs finaux, y compris de l’expérience en rédaction persuasive de propositions de projets et de changements, de la diffusion d’idées et de l’influence exercée sur les utilisateurs finaux afin d’en favoriser l’adoption;
- une compréhension solide de la manière dont les gens vivent un changement et du processus de changement;
- de l’expérience et des connaissances des principes, des méthodologies et des outils de gestion du changement;
- la capacité à assimiler des détails techniques (liés aux processus ou à la technologie) pour déterminer les répercussions importantes pour les employés;
- des compétences exceptionnelles en matière de communication, tant écrite qu’orale; la capacité à créer rapidement un contenu écrit percutant pour transmettre des idées à des intervenants de haut niveau est un atout majeur;
- des compétences efficaces en matière d’organisation et de gestion du temps, ainsi que la capacité de travailler sous pression;
- une grande fiabilité, un souci du détail et une capacité à obtenir des résultats démontrés;
- une aisance à travailler dans un environnement agile où les livrables sont fréquemment transmis aux promoteurs de projets en vue d’obtenir une rétroaction et une itération.
