We are a well-established construction company in Ottawa, Ontario, specializing in commercial & residential. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add an experienced and proactive Office Administration Assistant to our team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting the team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
The Office Administration Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of administrative functions to support our construction projects and operations. You will work closely with project managers, field teams, and senior leadership to ensure that our office functions efficiently and effectively.
Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls, handling emails, and managing correspondence.
Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and billing records reporting to the Project Manager.
Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth project workflows.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Assist with human resources functions, such as tracking timecards and assisting with payroll.
Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office administrative role, ideally within the construction industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Quick Books.
