Job Summary


This part-time Spa Coordinator/Attendant role offers the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment while delivering exceptional guest service and contributing to our commitment to sustainability.



Key Responsibilities:

  2. Ensure efficient and personalized guest service, meeting and exceeding standards for luxury resorts.
  3. Greet guests promptly upon arrival at Ancient Cedars Spa and provide a warm welcome.
  4. Stock treatment rooms with clean linen and maintain a tidy spa environment.
  5. Manage guest bookings, answer phone calls, and complete treatment reservations accurately.
  6. Set up Men's and Ladies Lounges, replenish supplies, and maintain locker areas for guests.
  7. Clean all spa areas, including reception, treatment rooms, steam room, and spa patio, ensuring a pristine environment.
  8. Manage guest bookings with attention to detail and be prepared to answer questions about services available.
  9. Demonstrate a strong understanding of spa products and answer guest inquiries regarding prices, inventory, and product knowledge.
  10. Process transactions for departing guests and complete administrative tasks as assigned.
  11. Participate in retail programs, training, and meetings to stay informed and engaged.
  12. Contribute to opening and closing duties, maintaining spa operations throughout the day.
  13. Transport laundry from the Laundry Room to Ancient Cedars Spa.


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and the ability to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to engage with guests and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with Housekeeping and Laundry procedures, an asset.
  • The physical ability to transport large bags of laundry.
  • Prior experience in a spa or hotel environment, an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Pro-Salon, Maestro, Excel, Word, and Internet applications preferred.
  • A passion for wellness and healing through spa experiences.
  • Exemplary guest service skills and a demonstrated willingness to exceed expectations.


Compensation: $20.00 per hour
