About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at Atlant Metal Fabrication Ltd. as a Metal Fabrication Specialist. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal products to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate fabrication.

Sheet Metal Fabrication

Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates, and operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal to meet customer specifications.

Machine Operation

Operate laser cutters, plasma cutters, and CNC machines to fabricate sheet metal products.

Quality Control

Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications, and identify areas for improvement.

Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

Develop computerized patterns and layouts using CAD software, and operate CADD systems to design and fabricate sheet metal products.

Team Collaboration

Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.

Language

English language proficiency.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
