Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at Atlant Metal Fabrication Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sheet metal, operating metalworking machines, and ensuring high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Operate metalworking machines, including laser cutters, plasma cutters, and CNC machines, to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and specification standards.
  • Develop computerized patterns and layouts to optimize production efficiency.
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to design and plan metal fabrication projects.
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, with a focus on metalworking machines and quality control.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
