Position Overview

Atlant Metal Fabrication Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our dedicated team. This role involves working with various metal materials to create high-quality products that meet our clients' specifications.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ascertain work requirements.
  • Accurately measure and mark sheet metal according to templates.
  • Utilize metalworking machinery to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
  • Operate advanced laser cutting equipment.
  • Grind and polish seams, joints, and rough surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Conduct inspections of products to guarantee quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Use plasma cutting tools effectively.
  • Develop computerized patterns and layouts for production.
  • Cut materials using both power tools and manual techniques.
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment as needed.
  • Employ CADD and other computer software systems for design and layout.
  • Fit and connect sheet metal components accurately.
  • Install sheet metal products in accordance with specifications and building codes.
  • Operate CNC machines for precision manufacturing.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • This is a permanent position.
  • Work language: English.
  • Standard working hours: 40 hours per week.
