About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Boston Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
    • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service and that their needs are met.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, scheduling, and staff supervision.
    • Monitor sales and revenue to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales.
  • Menu Planning and Pricing
    • Work with the culinary team to develop and implement menu plans that meet customer demand and drive sales.
    • Monitor menu pricing and make adjustments as needed to ensure profitability.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed and that the restaurant meets all regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
  • Marketing and Promotions
    • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
    • Work with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the restaurant's budget and ensure that all financial goals are met.
    • Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
