About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Aaxel Insurance Brokers Ltd. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our insurance professionals in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our insurance professionals, including scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Respond to phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, Electronic Scheduler, Database Software, and Accounting Software.
  • Business Acumen: Familiarity with business terminology, including contracts, financial statements, and invoices.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with our team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, flexibility, and a strong attention to detail.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
