Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 2531637 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Take customers' orders and serve them at counters or buffet tables.
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
- Handle and store cleaning products.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Sharpen kitchen knives.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and dependability.
- Positive attitude and ability to multitask.
This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
