Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at True North Star Subs Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Food Preparation and Service: Assist with food preparation, portioning, and wrapping, as well as serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and organized.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
- Personal Suitability: Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
