Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at True North Star Subs Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Food Preparation and Service: Assist with food preparation, portioning, and wrapping, as well as serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work surfaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Garbage and Recycling: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that recycling is properly sorted and disposed of.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve our high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
- Personal Suitability: Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Training and Development: We offer on-the-job training to help you develop your skills and knowledge.
- Permanent Employment: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 35 hours per week.
- Language of Work: English.
