Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at True North Star Subs Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
- Prepare and portion food items, including meats, vegetables, and condiments, according to our recipes and presentation standards.
- Package take-out food and ensure that all orders are accurate and ready for pickup.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels of food, supplies, and cleaning materials.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
