Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support while working collaboratively with our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and distribute departmental equipment
- Transport patients, specimens, and supplies as required
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Graduate of a personal support worker/health care aide program from an accredited institution (or an equivalent program)
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum two years recent related patient care experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
You will work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays. Our team is committed to providing excellent patient care, and we expect the same level of dedication from our team members.
CompensationThe salary for this role ranges from $30.10 to $30.64 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
