About the Role

The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes managing inventory, implementing sales strategies, maintaining high customer service standards, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide superior customer service and support to employees, customers, and suppliers
  • Work closely with the Store Manager and Department Managers to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching, training, and recognition
  • Promote company policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Assist in implementing health and safety programs and participate in community events
Qualifications and Skills
  • Typically requires completion of a post-secondary program in business or a related field, plus 5-7 years of managerial experience in retail
  • Successful completion of certifications such as Public Health Food Handler and Smart Serve is required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Farm Boy Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
