Job Title: Steakhouse Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steakhouse Chef to join our team at MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Additionally, they will train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, while maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to recipes and quality standards.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely ordering and restocking.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skillset: Excellent cooking skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and strong organizational and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
