Lead Culinary Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual. As a culinary leader, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and Cook Complete Meals or Individual Dishes and Foods: Develop and implement menus that showcase your culinary skills and creativity, while meeting the needs and preferences of our customers.
- Train Staff in Preparation, Cooking and Handling of Food: Share your knowledge and expertise with our kitchen team to ensure that they have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional results.
- Maintain Inventory and Records of Food, Supplies and Equipment: Effectively manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: You must have completed secondary education to apply for this position.
- Attention to Detail: Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail is crucial in this role.
- Physical Demands: This position requires standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Client Focus: Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional experiences is essential.
- Excellent Oral Communication: You must have strong communication skills to effectively train and lead your team.
- Initiative: Taking initiative and being proactive in addressing challenges and opportunities is vital in this role.
- Judgement: Making sound decisions and exercising good judgement is critical in maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Team Player: Working collaboratively with your team to achieve common goals is essential.
This is a permanent position, requiring approximately 30-40 hours of work per week. The salary for this role is estimated to be between $45,000 and $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
