About the Role:

Bayshore Healthcare, a leading provider of home and community health care services in Canada, seeks an experienced Occupational Health Clinical Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity with a one-year contract, requiring a driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to client homes in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Support employees on medical leave, ensuring timely receipt of medical documentation and compliance with company policies and legislative guidelines.">
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement return-to-work plans for non-occupational absences.">
  • Lead initiatives to mitigate organizational and employee risk related to occupational/non-work-related illness/injury absences, return to work, and medical accommodation.">
  • Provide first aid for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, as well as administer flu shot clinics and present health promotion materials.">
  • Host nurse orientation for newly hired team members and support employees on long-term disability, liaising with insurance carriers for early and safe return to work initiatives.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Certificate or diploma in Occupational Health.">
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Occupational Health.">
  • Current registration with an Ontario Regulated Health Professional College.">
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines, including the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Workplace Safety & Insurance Act.">
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage high-risk situations, prioritize tasks, and solve complex problems.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent organizational and time management skills.">
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and Parklane software (considered an asset).">
  • Good attendance and work record, with a willingness to learn and grow.">
