">We are seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Occupational Health for the position of Clinical Supervisor at our Hamilton, ON office location.

">About the Job
">As an Occupational Health Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing employee illness/injury related absences and supporting return-to-work processes. You will work closely with our Manager to develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate occupational health program initiatives and lead health promotion and wellness activities.
">Your prime responsibilities will include:
">- ">
- Supporting Health and Safety, Client Services, and Human Resources with the return-to-work process following workplace illness/injury, as needed">
- Implementing policies, procedures, and processes to meet national and provincial standards and support the overall Occupational Health program">
- Leading initiatives to mitigate organizational and employee risk related to occupational/non-work-related illness/injury absences, return to work, and medical accommodation">
- Supporting management of the process regarding confidential employee health records, ensuring compliance to legislative guidelines and best practice standards">
- Performing risk assessments and providing appropriate intervention and reporting">
- Supporting employees on medical leave and ensuring appropriate medical documentation is received in a timely manner and as per policy">
- Supporting leaders to develop and implement timely return-to-work plans for non-occupational absences">
- Collaborating with leadership to manage requests for medical accommodation">
- Supporting employees on Long Term Disability and liaising with Insurance Carrier promoting early and safe return to work initiatives">
- Supporting and educating employees on Employee Assistance Program and counseling as needed">
- Providing first aid for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses">
- Offering health teaching/coaching, including designing and presenting health promotion materials">
- Providing wellness services such as administering flu shot clinics and presenting health promotion materials">
- Hosting nurse orientation for newly hired team members">
About the Team Member We Are Looking For
">We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Practical Nurse who possesses a comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines, including the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Workplace Safety & Insurance Act, Public Hospitals Act, Communicable Disease Surveillance Protocols for Ontario Hospitals MOHLTC, PIDAC Best Practices.
">You should have demonstrated knowledge and experience in disability case management, absence management, including STD, LTD, and WSIB case management, strong assessment, health teaching/promotion skills, working knowledge of occupational wellness, ergonomics, and safety.
">A drivers' license and reliable vehicle are required due to the traveling component of this role.
