Are you passionate about design and sales? Do you have a knack for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional results? We're looking for a talented Sales and Design Consultant to join our team at RONA

About the Role

As a Sales and Design Consultant, you will be responsible for developing sales plans to meet annual sales and margin objectives. You will actively generate sales through qualifying potential customers, repeat customers, and referrals. You will also execute project and design consultations, including store showroom tours and on occasion in-home visits.

You will produce design layouts with plans, elevations, and 3D renderings, proposing products available in-store or through special orders. You will provide quotes to customers, including a detailed scope of work, project timelines, and financial proposals, including promoting financing plans offered by RONA.

You will liaise as necessary with customers and contractors (via visits, phone exchanges, or email) at all phases of the project's realization to ensure superior customer satisfaction. You will problem-solve and advocate fairly for the customer, the contractors, and RONA.

What We're Looking For
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • 3 years' experience in interior/exterior project sales and management
  • Proven sales performance in previous roles, ideally in environments where financing is offered and guarantees are part of the offer
  • Passion for design and home improvement
  • Superior computer skills in recognized specialized design software (2020) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Superior product expertise;
  • Advanced project management knowledge
