National Claims Administration Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Administration Assistant to join our team at Definity. As a key member of our claims processing team, you will be responsible for managing incoming claims, preparing and processing documents, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Claims Management: Set up and manage incoming claims, including data entry and distribution to the appropriate claims representative.
- Document Preparation: Prepare, scan, validate, and digitally process claims documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Payment Processing: Process and reconcile payments within established authority levels.
- Customer Support: Provide timely and effective support to customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including photocopying, filing, and maintaining shared email boxes.
- Education: High school diploma; preference given to candidates with post-secondary education.
- Experience: Customer service experience an asset; previous exposure in an accounting function a plus.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Competitive Salary: $33,200 - $57,400 (dependent on location and experience).
