Job Summary

The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Delivery Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing operational leadership to meet our ministry's, regional and provincial business plan objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of area/zone and provincial operations plan goals, and strategies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Support and Financial Services Coordinators and Career & Employment Consultants.
  • Deliver program information and services consistent with the strategic directions of the area/zone and the Provincial Business Plan.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder groups to identify areas of common service and potential collaboration.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Alberta Supports programs and services.
  • Provide coaching, training, mentorship, and guidance to staff.
  • Communicate program successes and gaps to management.
  • Aware of operational drivers such as budget and staffing allocations.
  • Understanding of technology and systems such as Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Experience with de-escalation techniques and Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor accountabilities.

Requirements

  • University graduation in a related field (preferably in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business), plus a minimum of 4 years of progressively related experience (preferably in the Financial and Employment and/or Labour Market Programs).
  • Supervisory/Leadership experience is a requirement of the position.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position located in Grande Prairie. Hours of work are 36.25 hours weekly, Monday to Friday.
