Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Services Associate to join our team at Meridian Credit Union. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service and support to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to members on a range of products and services, including credit and investment options.
  • Conduct thorough credit interviews and underwriting to ensure accurate and appropriate credit decisions.
  • Engage in revenue generation and sales-based activities to achieve performance objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, identifying and promoting opportunities to deepen relationships and provide flawless service experiences.
  • Actively participate in community events and activities, promoting Meridian Credit Union and demonstrating our company values.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education with at least 3 years of equivalent work experience in a financial services environment.
  • Strong business and financial industry knowledge, with a desire for career growth within the financial services industry.
  • At minimum, MFDA licensing is required for most roles.
  • Flexible to work all scheduled hours, including some evenings and Saturdays.
  • Proven understanding of computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
