Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand the financial needs of our members and provide tailored advice and recommendations.
  • Offer large or complex credit and investment advice to meet member needs.
  • Engage in revenue generation and sales-based activities to achieve performance objectives.
  • Build external centers of influence to optimize sales and service results.
  • Use provided tools to proactively identify and promote opportunities with all members.
  • Embrace virtual technology platforms to host meetings and engage in impactful communication.
  • Participate in the planning process and assist with implementation and feedback.
Community Experience:
  • Promote Meridian Credit Union in your community through community activities and events.
  • Support local community organizations and activities through the Business Development and Good Neighbour Program.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education with at least 3 years of equivalent work experience in a financial services environment.
  • Strong business and financial industry knowledge with a desire for career growth.
  • At minimum, MFDA licensing is required for most roles.
  • Flexible to work all scheduled hours, including some evenings and Saturdays.
  • Proven understanding of computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
