Financial Services Associate

At Meridian Credit Union, we're committed to helping our members achieve their best lives. As a Financial Services Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional member experiences and providing expert advice on financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the financial needs of our members and provide tailored advice and recommendations
  • Offer large or complex credit and investment advice to meet member needs
  • Engage in revenue generation and sales-based activities to achieve performance objectives
  • Build external centers of influence to optimize sales and service results
  • Use provided tools to proactively identify and promote opportunities with members
  • Actively participate in the planning process and provide feedback to the leadership team
Community Experience
  • Promote Meridian Credit Union in the community through participation in events and activities
  • Support local community organizations and activities through the Business Development and Good Neighbor Program
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education with at least 3 years of equivalent work experience in a financial services environment
  • Strong business and financial industry knowledge with a desire for career growth
  • At minimum, MFDA licensing is required for most roles
  • Flexible to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and Saturdays
  • Proven understanding of computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
