Tax Planning Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Tax Planning Manager to join our team at Baker Tilly. As a key member of our tax services group, you'll work closely with partners and senior staff to develop and implement effective tax strategies and planning assignments.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of tax services clients
  • Reviewing tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff
  • Identifying and cultivating new sales and/or client service opportunities
  • Compiling feedback on staff performance throughout the year and conducting regular performance reviews
  • Leading practice and professional development initiatives

A successful candidate will have:

  • CPA designation
  • Experience working in public practice accounting
  • At least two years in a tax specialty role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, mentor and develop others to build high performing teams
  • Project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset

Compensation and benefits will be based on experience and qualifications.
