Job Title: Tax Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective tax strategies, managing a portfolio of tax services clients, and mentoring and training staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tax strategies and planning assignments
  • Manage a portfolio of tax services clients
  • Mentor and train staff
  • Review tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff
  • Identify and cultivate new sales and/or client service opportunities
  • Manage engagement financials, including budgets, WIP, variances, and billing
Requirements
  • CPA designation
  • Experience working in public practice accounting
  • At least two years in a tax specialty role
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop others to build high-performing teams
  • Project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
